All right, Thanksgiving is coming up here in the U.S.

And while being bombarded with headlines, CDC recommendations, and local alerts that

remind you how much you should not travel this Thanksgiving and only spend the holiday

with people already in your household, more than likely you, or at least some people that

you know, are making plans to break or bend those

recommendations in some way. Now, personally, I do think that the best strategy is to not have

indoor gatherings with people outside of our households, but I also recognize that just saying

that and nothing else is like abstinence-only education.

And as someone who grew up in Texas, a place with some of the strictest abstinence-only education

regulations and some of the highest rates of teen pregnancy, I know that simply telling someone

not to do something without giving them any other education or advice on what to do
