It was Monday night, late Monday night, and the thought hit, you know, I need to write an article.

I need to write an article, which I do all the time, but I need to write an article on our calling

to reprioritize the gospel and to say, yes, we stay involved in politics, yes, we stay involved

in the culture wars, but our priorities have shifted in an unhealthy way.

We need to get back to the priority of the Great Commission.

I wrote it, posted yesterday on numerous sites,

and gotten some good response to it,

but only a fraction of the response I'd get if I touched on some hot political issue.

And that's just the way it is that often we put the most detention in the wrong place and the least detention in the right place. I want to keep
