How did you start out in comedy, bud? Where was your first deal? Oh, place. Well, it's interesting. So it's a place called All Jokes Aside, which was the preeminent club for like urban comedy, right on the cusp of the deaf comedy jam era. Got it. It was like an explosion of comedy, and they brought in all the great.

So I heard about some people talking about it, Adele Givens was the open mic host.

So I went to another place the day before the open mic at all jokes and tried a few jokes.

And they went decent and then while I was there, I met a guy who had heard about that was the house MC of that club.

I also heard that he was my cousin.

So we met for the first time, the first time I ever did comedy, and he took me to all

jokes and got me on the list.

Yeah, because our fathers are brothers or have brothers, whatever, whatever.
