about the trial could fill a short book and I'm sure that will expand. The claims that

amazing. What has struck you so far the most?

I mean, one of the things that's truly fascinating about this trial is there have obviously

been arrests of high level members of various cartels over the last decade. But everyone so

far has pleaded guilty. This is really the first time that we're actually seeing in the

US a trial where all of these bits and pieces are coming out. We really run the gamut in

terms of what we're hearing. We're hearing about bribes to high level officials in Mexico,

even in the defense of opening statements. He accused former and current presidents of

being on the cartel dole and also allegations against the DEA in the United States. It's

really so far the allegations are flying left, right, and center. In addition to obviously

the bloody nature of cartel wars and things like that.
