Yesterday we came across what was called an open letter to Greta Thunberg written by Jason

D. Hill, a professor of philosophy at DePaul University in Chicago.

And the author of his newest book, we have overcome an immigrants letter to the American

people and the professor has been kind enough to join us today.

I don't think we've reached him quite yet.

He's on the east coast, but we have made arrangements to talk to him.

And I applaud mightily what he wrote and needed to be said.

And I'm curious if he senses any backlash from the academy, the failed academy.

And it sounds to me reading about him that he might not terribly be upset by that if

he gets some backlash.

Right.

He seems like a fairly independent soul who immigrated to America in 1985 from Jamaica, got

a degree in philosophy from Purdue and then landed the professor ship at Yale.
