So this is one of the reasons the Jeff Sessions hearing yesterday was so interesting is he got

blasted at least partially by both sides Republicans and Democrats Democrats were beating them up, you know,

because they believe that he's lying about meetings with Russians and that sort of stuff.

Well, they were trying to make it seem they were trying to trap him for the cameras would be the way I would describe.

And I don't know that any of those a holes believes a single thing, honestly, that's a good point right there.

Yeah, it's hard to know what they're just a tad cynical.

Any of what their convictions are, but then here's a Republican who is unhappy with this exchange.

What's he going to take to actually get a special counsel?

It will take a factual basis that meets the standards of the appointment of a special counsel.

And it sure looks like the FBI was paying the author of that document and it sure looks like a major political party was working with the federal government to then turn in opposition research document,

the equivalent of some national inquire story into an intelligence document.

Take that to the FISA court so that they could then get a warrant to spy on Americans associated with President Trump's campaign.

That's what it looks like.

And I'm asking you, doesn't that warrant in addition to all the things we know about James Comey in 2016?

Doesn't that warrant naming a second special counsel as 20 members of this committee wrote you three and a half months ago asking you to do?

I would say looks like is not enough basis to appoint a special counsel.

That's getting yelled at by a Republican.

And saying, yeah, fine. Great. Yeah. I know what the law is. I'll follow it. Next. I thought that was strong stuff.
