Boy, I'll boy you're right, the lawsuits, PG&A, and the state, and probably individuals,

some sort of class action, maybe the whole town of Paradise, whatever, it's going to be just

a, it'll go on the rest of our lives.

And the legislative response to that in corrupt of fornya, God help us there, the complexity

of the thing is just, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay, ay.

And then the reality of it, to what extent is an electric company responsible for anything

that goes wrong as they try to spread electricity across half a state?

And listen, if I'm going to be fair-minded for once, you can design a perfectly safe,

or a very nearly perfectly safe electric grid.

It will cost you a million dollars per customer.

Well, you know, that's an extreme illustration of what I'm trying to say, but we have to agree

on how much it costs to make the grid safe, the enormous cost of it not being safe, taking

a look at the profits of these companies that are granted, essentially monopolies by our

brave and honorable elected representatives, and figure out what we want to do as a people.

All I know is I've lived in places with terrible weather, and my electricity didn't go out

even close to as often.

Right.

Right.

Yeah.

So the heftiness of the system doesn't seem to be, the profits are plenty hefty.

But anyway, that's anecdotal evidence.
