Finally, we're starting to say that they figured out how to get around Apple's new face scanning security feature.

0:26.0

They say they did it by using a mask that mimics the user's face. Yeah, I know. Oh, indeed, sir.

0:33.0

They say the mask they used is made of plastic, silicon and makeup, or as they call it here in Los Angeles, a face.

0:41.0

On the bright side, if someone has a mask of your face, getting your iPhone hacked is the least of your problems.

0:52.0

Who did it in Wishon? Well, these are people just kind of testing the limits of the software.

0:57.0

So what they did is they used a 3D printer to make it, but what they essentially did is they made a replication of the head similar to what displays like hats are put on on department stores, right?

1:08.0

Just kind of the vague shape of a face. Oh, gotcha. And then they would print out two dimensional versions of the picture of the person in question.

1:17.0

So their eyes and they would just kind of paste. They would tape the eyes onto the mold of the face.

1:22.0

That's all it took. Yeah. And then they would and they even the trickiest part was a 3D printed nose that gave it some sort of actual rendering that made it seem more realistic like a face.

1:32.0

Somebody's going to a hell of a lot of trouble to look at pictures of my kids. Well, yeah, I don't really care about for the phone, but for the future of facial recognition technology as security to get in and out of buildings.

1:42.0

And they know the idea at the bank. Obviously we need to get a lot better than this from the article I read it was about $150 worth of stuff from needed to hack an iPhone.

1:51.0

Yeah, good luck. You get into my phone. Have a good time. Well, yeah, but I see your point though. If you know the evil doers take over the government and then there's no security.

1:59.0

They can they probably I imagine they bury up to your neck. That's what I'm picturing.

2:05.0

And then their evil secret service face molders come in. They take them all to your face. Then they get into your iPhone. Then they have all the secrets. I've been running the resistance. Everybody knows it. That sort of thing. So yeah, we got to do better than that.

2:18.0

Can't how about a tongue print. Nobody talks about that. Everybody's tongue is unique. Are you sure about that? No. The pattern of taste buds, etc.

2:27.0

You got a little cleavage down the middle. Some people do. Some people don't. I don't know. So you want to hear about Jesus and China or Rand Paul's ribs.

2:35.0

We have a guest coming up, but we're trying to connect to Beirut. What's the latest on Rand Paul's ribs? Well, he got back to the Senate to take a couple of votes, but he was in terrible pain. He couldn't even shake hands with his friends.

2:49.0

Couldn't can't shake hands. Yeah, I can believe that. Yeah, a six broken ribs. Yeah, company by two aides. He had no obvious scars or bruises, but was clenched in pain as he walked.

3:00.0

He declined friendly hand shake from Marco Rubio. He said it might be too painful, but he's been. He remains very mysterious about what caused his crazy French neighbor to weigh lay him. Are we? Are we set? We are. Okay.

3:15.0

We've been discussing for a couple of weeks, the growing tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran. It's really a pretty interesting story. I think because it's it's the big one. People have feared for for many, many years. The full on Sunni Shia battle with the heavyweight states involved.

3:31.0

And in the midst of those rising tensions, a very odd and mysterious set of circumstances revolving around Lebanon's prime minister. Louis the love lock of the Washington Post joins us from Beirut. I believe to talk about it.

3:43.0

And I think that's the reason why we're here. We're here to talk about the news. We're here to talk about the news. We're here to talk about the news. We're here to talk about the news.
