Oftentimes, if you're there for a restaurant grand opening, you receive free food of some sort for a year.

My brother has done several of these.

Not proud to admit it, but I did one with him for a Denny's.

We got free grand slams for a year, 52 gift cards, one grand slam a week.

We camped out overnight, got drunk, woke up the next morning to be the first ones in line to have a hangover breakfast.

They're really good. And Texas toast and slaw. That's true. That's true. All the stuff's good, man. well there at least you you get a gift card where you don't have to go in once a week.
