You quoted Jerry Brown claiming that climate change deniers are responsible in part

for the terrible wildfires in California.

I found this interesting.

I find it highly unlikely that climate change deniers are actually starting the fires,

are adding fuel to them.

Or rather, it seems that Mr. Brown was stating that the lack of a belief of certain individuals

was causing the fires to be worse.

Lack of belief being given as the cause for natural disasters seems to be a growing one among environmentalists.

Just a few months ago, President Trump's lack of belief in man-made climate change was blamed for a hurricane hitting the east coast.

A climate change denier may be a conservationist in yet not believe in climate change.

He may be recycling, saving electricity, and overall doing his part according to what a climate change believer might desire.
