This is Surveillance.

These stuff piles of personal data serve only to enrich the companies that collect them.

That is Tim Cook of Apple on 60 minutes last night.

It was a from a speech he gave in Europe a couple of weeks ago.

I believe we played clips of it at the time, but got a lot of attention at the time.

Yeah, it should have gotten more.

Having watched 60 minutes last night, I thought that should have gotten way more attention.

I wonder how come he didn't say the same thing on US soil?

Maybe that would make the news.

Or you got to maybe get Trump involved somehow to make the news.

But Apple definitely wants to differentiate themselves from the other companies in that look.

We're a giant tech company, but we build laptops and phones.

We're not taking any data.

We're not making any money off of your information at all.

Right? We're just selling you things.

We want to let you know Google and Facebook, they are surveilling you,

and that's how they make their money.

Which is, you know, I think we're all catching on to that, but it can't be said enough.

And I don't think Apple is in competition with them much.

I'm trying to think, you know, if somebody was to cast dispersions at Tim Cook,

is it spin, is it competition?

I don't think so because the more you look at it,
