0:56.7	Hello. Veterans Day, 2025. Thank you, veterans. Thank you to all of our veterans out there. We appreciate it. I'll have to post the picture. My dad took it about, oh, I don't know, maybe he was in his early 90s when he took it. And he put on his, I don't know, I think it was my sister that got him to do it. He put on his World War II uniform that he fit into.

1:03.5	And he took a picture with all the grandkids with him in it.
1:05.5	Think about this. He's won.
1:08.1	Now, he didn't actually see any action.
1:11.6	He got in before the war ended, but he didn't get to Japan until after the war was over. He was, what, 4F in 44. Yeah. Because of his foot, and then they,
1:21.5	by 45, they said, no, you're in. My dad went to Korea and the Navy and then went to
1:27.0	the Vietnam conflict in the Air Force, actually.
1:33.1	And I think the last time he put his uniform on, I think he put it on for that.

1:43.9	When my brother-in-law graduated from officer training school, my father retired as an E-9,
1:54.5	Chief Master Sergeant, non-commission officer, and you have to salute even the very young lieutenants and of course my brother-in-law
2:07.3	went to render his first salute from my dad at that ceremony that's kind of how that works so
2:13.4	that was the cool thing i think dad was wearing his uniform. I think it put his uniform on for that.
2:18.2	You know, when I was a young kid, I didn't think about it much.
2:21.0	And as I got older, I thought about it a lot more. And I went, wow. Because Dad didn't go in 18. I mean, they said, no, because of his foot. And then at 19, they took him and they brought him in. Yeah. Well, after basics, but once they shipped him over to Japan, immediately, he became an instructor.
