Apparently, he's a journalist who, over the course of about 40 years, spent time with Ozzy and did lots of reporting on Ozzie, and now he has a new book out. Cool. That's tomorrow, right? I would mention earlier that nobody knows what yawning's about is from a thread about

this is medical stuff that nobody knows why it even happens and why it even

exists but the one that scared me was here.

I was in a hospital once.

It says, and I was asked to be, I was about to be put under sedation.

Under sedation.

I asked, casually asked how anesthesia works.

And the anesthesis replied, we don't know.

That's not the answer you want to hear.

So when I get home, nobody does.

When I got home, I did some research, and it's true.

We don't know why it works.

Now, the weird part about this is I'm an anesthesiologist.

We know how patients react to it.

We know how to dose and monitor it, but we don't know how it works.

Which is crazy that that even exists.
