And we begin with Joe Biden closing in on the 270 electoral votes he needs to declare victory in a tighter

than expected presidential race. In fact, he's so confident he's reportedly

planning a celebratory speech today to try and reunite a very divided country.

Republicans meantime are saying not so fast. There are still a few key states

that aren't done counting ballots, states that

that President Trump thinks he can and should win.

And if those don't break his way,

Mr. Trump is preparing to challenge the results in court.

The eep shot, Joe Biden might very well be able to call himself president-elect today or tomorrow

But a concession from the White House might still be weeks away

One candidate did concede defeat on election night, rapper Kagnay West, and it is long

shot presidential bid with a simple but telling tweet,

Kanyay 2024.

No one gave him much of a chance,

but he still managed to get 60,000 votes

across 12 states.

And in Missouri, Yahoo Sports is reporting that Kansas City Chief's quarterback Patrick Mahomes made it

on the ballot even though he wasn't running when a handful of fans decided to write him in

as a candidate.

And while that wasn't enough to make a difference in the overall election,

his 15 and the Mahomey's foundation sure did.
