Man, I could have easily accommodated my insistence that I would vote in person on voting day.

I went to my polling place this morning at nine just to drive by and look at a minute.

I'm a reporter by nature. There was a sprinkling of cars in the parking lot. No line outside.

I could have easily voted in person. Be I wouldn't have had to hang on a bum leg.

And then I went by again at 11 o'clock. And it was just a sparse. And I'm getting that from a number

of e-mailers who are having absolutely no problem voting in person. Carole Bear writes,

I voted this morning in Northfield at 9.30 a.m. No lines. In fact, the election workers outnumbered

the voters nine to three. Peaceful so far in our little town where the Marxist outnumbered

the normal Americans two to one. Unfortunately, I think we are in for several weeks if not months

of uncertainty about the outcome of today's election. The Democrats will keep counting and

recoding until they come up with the votes to win. And the courts will ultimately be required
