of being taken into care. Low self-esteem, depression, anxiety, self-harm, which consumed most of my teenage years.

I can't remember most of my childhood as a consequence of this.

But first, a trade minister has played down the prospect of tit-for-tat tariffs

after President Trump signed an executive order, imposing a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminium imports into the US.

He said there would be no exceptions to the levy.

The tariffs are due to come into force on the 12th of March.

The UK steel industry has accused President Trump of taking a sledgehammer to free trade

and called for stronger action from the British government.

The trade minister, Douglas Alexander, said the UK would not react immediately.
