What an afternoon of baseball, what a battle in SEC play, and the good news is the fighting tigers of LSU get the win.

Seven to six. Again, LSU finding ways to get it done with two outs. They had stranded in today's game.

They had been ineffective at times, midway and late in the game with runners in scoring position.

But when it was on the line and the Tigers got two men aboard in the top of the ninth down, six to four.

with a series sweep for the first time in SEC play. And more importantly, as I talked to

Jay Johnson before today's game, it's great to get a sweep. But right now, LSU looking for wins

to stay atop the SEC West, and today presented

that opportunity, and LSU moves to 12 and 5, and stay atop the SEC West after grabbing

that spot earlier in the weekend. And LSU wins 7-6 a final over Ole Miss.
