What is up, everybody? I am joined by Eric Barber today, one of the Turkey Killinist folks.

I know on the table in front of us, if you're watching on YouTube, or if you're not watching

on YouTube, it's the same because these things are on the table in front of us. We've got

a smattering of Turkey decoys, the subject matter of today's 10 minute talk, Turkey decoy

tactics. When to use them, where to use them, how to use them, things to look for in a decoy,

we're going to cover it all there. I love it. I think you did the perfect prelude in everything

that we're going to hit on for this. There's more than just plunking a decoy out, and crossing

your fingers, hoping for the best. If you are looking on YouTube, I've got some like what I would

consider more old school traditional decoys. Yep. What's funny is when I got these, pretty

state of the art, when I even started using foam turkey decoys, it would be like the equivalent

of using blocks for ducks. Black garbage bags for Canada geese. That's the silo. Now, you got

these ones that are behind us here. We got a jake teacoay. We got a hen. We've got a strut.

These are the ones where when I wake up from my nap, when that sun starts to hit me in the chest,

and I wake up from my nap, my heart stops because I see my decoys. I'm like, I've got no way.

I put that there. When and when, where and how are you predominantly using your decoys? I know

that's a lot right there. Yeah. My decoy tactics have kind of evolved over the years. When I first

started turkey hunting, when I said I grew up turkey hunting, I grew up just going turkey hunting.

It wasn't like, it was a thing that we did just to pass a time. Like now, I've kind of, I'm at this

stage of my passion for turkey hunting. We're actually look forward to it more than I even do like

deer hunting. I know. So I say that by saying to kind of level set that like how I started is not

how I'm finishing when it comes to like turkey hunting. So your turkey journey has progressed and
