we're going to talk about your very recent South Dakota

archery hunt. This is my second attempt at the intro, though, because you were lighting a candle.

You were setting the mood. Setting the mood. I know this is on YouTube, so I'll just hold the candle up,

right? It's, uh, it's called mainstays. I don't know where

my wife got it, but, um, she got it. It's vanilla, buttercream and marshmallow. It really

brings out the storyteller in me and I'm excited to be here. That's all I'll say. It's like your own

own little personal marshmallow campfire. That's right. Just right there, right there.

Right there. Dan, you've hunted the state a handful of times. You know, you started doing these

Western adventures a few years ago, and you've probably seen a little bit of everything. And so

let's jump into maybe a little bit of that. And then what you saw this year and any tips that you might have for a person that says,

you know what, I think I'm going to do some open landscape Western bow hunting.

I'm going to start off with three bullet points that played a huge role in this upcoming story.

Number one, mosquitoes.

Big part of what all went down out there.

Number two, cattle.
