Metal mags versus polymer mags metal mags kind of being I guess you could call it kind of a little old school

I mean, I think they look cool. They kind of got like a in a lure to them in some regards

Polymer mags sort of being what you see generally speaking most days now most commonly

We have AR mags here on the table. I'm pretty sure probably magazines when it comes to pistols will be a whole nother conversation

But Adam what

What do you have to tell us about metal versus polymer mags?

Well, I guess where to begin. I think if we like look at them

Well, like you mentioned pistol mags and stuff like that like usually when a manufacturer comes out with a firearm

They come out with a magazine to go with it and they're pretty much the ones that offer it

And a lot of folks don't know that a lot of the a lot of the design around a new firearm is

Actually the magazine and getting it to work and that's why you see a lot of magazines or a lot of

Firearms coming out now that use established magazines because a ton of engineering goes into making a box with a spring work

Well, it's a pretty important function

Yeah, you do want to feed the rounds into the firearm

Yeah, but such a to your how you alluded to it such a

Simple seeming thing. I mean yeah box with a spring and a plastic thing on top of it

Well, and then we get into especially with ARs or you could even look over into like 1911's things like that

A design that's been prolific for so long

Has now you know the patents are long expired everybody can make their interpretation of it and

offer accessories for it. We've kind of seen an evolution

Of what's available, but you kind of got to start at the beginning
