What is up, everybody? Mark on the mic, my good friend, Mr. Cole Booth across from me right now.

0:08.6

Cole, we went on a little adventure the other day. In fact, you videoed this adventure. That's a lot of what you do around here.

0:15.3

You do a variety of video projects, a variety of content creation. And one of those things was a squirrel hunt just, just before the close of the season.

0:27.7

I think it was, I think we had two days.

0:29.5

Two days left.

0:30.6

Yeah.

0:31.1

And man, it just worked out perfectly.

0:34.0

One of the things that worked out perfectly is we had this amazing long-range 1022

0:39.7

purpose built for squirrel hunting, at least in my opinion. And man, we'd had a bunch of pretty

0:46.8

sour weather. And then right before, right before that close the season, we got a beautiful day.

0:53.4

Yeah, we did.

1:12.5

We definitely did. I think it was like freezing cold up until then. And then it broke, and we got like, wasn't it 50 degrees that day? At least. Was it a Friday?

1:30.1

This is, if anybody's not familiar, this is pretty much the 1022 that I used for a previous project where Jim, Ryan, I customized 1022s all with our own, I guess, opinion of what might make

1:37.2

the ultimate squirrel gun. And this was my variant of that. Like I said, we had it. It's like,

1:42.5

why aren't we using this thing?

1:44.3

Yeah. We've, we've been talking about a lot more ideas off the cuff, kind of just showing what we do

1:50.3

at Vortex. Like, we're all, a lot of us are outdoorsmen, hunters, fishers, trappers. So this is kind of

1:57.3

one of those videos where we had an idea and it was a kind of a low production thing,

2:02.0

because it just took Mark and myself, and it turned out to be a pretty dang cool film, I think.

2:06.9

I mean, it was cool. It was fun. It was something that we were kind of just wanting to do anyway.

2:12.8

Yeah, for sure. Let's document this thing. A couple, well, I'm going to give a little bit of rundown on the
