about the 338 Federal. Oh, a lead balloon. Most certainly, I guess spoiler alert, lead balloon

on little vortex block here. Jim, that's adorned the podcast table since we started.

We've got a 308. This is a 308, right? Yeah.

Not a lead balloon. Not a lead balloon. As far from a lead balloon as you could get.

Very helium filled. Yes. And it doesn't look too different from the 338 Federal though.

No, because the 338 Federal uses the 308 Winchester case as its vehicle. Parent case. It's just

just opened up to 338. That's it. That's it. It just necked it up to the 338. We all know

that necking up never works. You got to neck down for it to become popular. Well, I mean,

kind of true. I think that's part of the problem with the 338 Federal. I think it was a timing

issue, not like on a vehicle, Jim. I've had some of those. It kind of came out congruently with like

like six, five creed more timing. So you've got like this kind of this magnum, big pill,

not necessarily a 60 long range option. And then you got the six, five creed.

That was an outstanding explanation for why. It's part of it. I don't think it's all of it.
