What is up everybody? I am joined by Remi Warren, one of the best hunters I know, one

of the best elk hunters I know, and one of the best elk guides I know. We're going to

talk today about kind of five elk vocalizations, if you will, and what they mean maybe a little

bit, you know, when and how to use them. But definitely calling can be a key component

to your elk success, maybe primarily archery elk success. I know I've used calls during

the rifle season too though, Remi. Yep. Yeah, I mean, I think calling is a huge, huge

factor in success when it comes to archery season especially. And my main method for hunting

elk is calling, bringing them in close, using those calls. That's the funnest part about

September is being able to essentially converse with the elk and trick them into coming

into your setup. So I think with these five, these are, I'm going to go with like the most

basic calls. And I'm using a diaphragm type call. But I'll tell you how to make these

calls on other kind of calls as well. Okay. Awesome. What are you going to start out with?

So let's start out with, this is just like, we're going to call it cow talk, right? It's

the standard mu. Now what you're doing is you're simulating cows talking to each other's

you, you, you, they're talking, talking, talk amongst yourselves. Right? So they're

a little over clumped over there. Yeah. Yeah. So they're just going to be talking amongst

themselves. And so you can use pretty much any kind of call for this. The best one outside

of, I would say diaphragm type call would be an open read call. And what I do, you know,

you start biting down more pressure. And then as you move it in, you blow and, you know,

the sound. So this is just pretty basic. But you can do this. I mean, there's even push

button calls to use Huchimama call. I can, I can use this fancy call to make a Huchimama

call. Yeah. Huchimama call more like. So we're just making that sound of like cows talking
