This week, Paul reminds us that while we're all searching for life, true satisfaction can only be found in Christ

and challenges us to stop chasing empty horizontal substitutes for what has already been fully given to us in him.

We all search for life somewhere.

God has placed this quest in each of our hearts.

It is there to drive us to him. It's there because we were made for him. But sometimes, But all search for life somewhere. God has placed this quest in each of our hearts.

But sadly, in our lifelong quest for life, most people ignore God.

Even for the believer whose salvation is sure, in our God amnesia, we look for life where

it cannot be found, and because we do, we always come up empty, thirsty, and unsatisfied.

You can search for life in only two places. Either you have found life to the fullest,

vertically in Christ, or you're shopping for it horizontally. Again today, Christ promises

you life. It's what he came to live, die, and rise to give you. That empty tomb not only means

he's conquered death, but it tells
