0:57.6 | We tend to try to run away from our emotions. But what that does, it just tends to make things worse. |
1:05.4 | Whatever we repress enough is actually going to get bigger and bigger. And that's when it kind of suddenly |
1:10.2 | just explodes. We'd have a proper breakdown break down okay we can just kind of really fill the emotion too |
1:17.4 | much and of course we don't want us to date we don't want to repress for the long term we can |
1:24.1 | allow our unconscious mind to repress in the short term because that's what it's there to do to try to keep us safe. |
1:30.4 | So we need to be able to build up some emotional resiliency. |

1:37.5 | It's the, to me anyway, it's the ability to deal with your emotions, to handle them, to regulate them, to be able to experience them. |

2:04.8 | Because when I was a young boy, I was definitely more of an empath and I'd feel lots of emotions. So I'd always have these worries, doubts and anxieties. |
