We are professional screenwriters. We've worked together as a team and separately. We've worked

on studio and indie films, live action, and animation, from my work on Inside Out and

Captain Marvel. To my work in Pixar Story Department on Up, Brave, and Inside Out.

Lorian is back and as always, she and Meg just have enormous insight to share today,

but as promised I want to quickly

talk about the Austin Film Festival because of course it starts pretty much

today when this is dropping into your feed. I unfortunately will not be there

my film always Lola is playing its final festival as we close out our circuit in Las Vegas, but I promise I will be there next year.

Good news, Lorian and Meg are both going to be there.

First of all, make sure you catch Meg and her writing partner and husband, Joe Forte,

is they're going to do their own story workshop on Saturday morning.

So check the Austin Film Festival program for more information there.

And one of the events you want to make sure you go to is on Saturday

October 29th at 9 a.m. at the St. David's Episcopal Church, Meg and her

writing partner and husband Joe Forte will be doing a story workshop so if you're feeling brave

you can come and pitch your story and that evening at 8 p.m. T.S.lers are going to be

meeting at Stephen's F-Bar in Austin.
