Hey everyone, welcome back to the show.

Today we're chatting with Matthew Gentile.

Matthew's debut feature, American Murderer,

is a crime drama based on the true story of Fugitive at large Jason Derek Brown and it comes out in

theaters this Friday. The movie stars Emmy nominated Ozark actor Tom Pelfrey who stars alongside

a Dean and Menzel and Ryan Philippe.

Matthew's feature represents the rare independently produced first feature to star A-list actors.

So we're really excited to talk about how Matthew helped get the project up on its feet and how emerging writer directors

listening may do the same.

But first, Matthew has agreed to join us in our Adventures in Screenwriting section. So Jeff you start to help Matthew see how it's done. How is your week?
