our lecturers here in veterinary professionalism at the RVC. And we thought we'd talk about a few

topics that might sort of come up around the Christmas holiday or the holiday season, as it

were. So whether that's

things like euthanasia how to look after yourself and trying to think about the things that you

should look forward to as well during this during this time so thank you Ruth for coming into the

So maybe I should start by asking.

So with regards to Christmas times,

you've obviously been in practice for a number of years.

And do you remember it as a good time to be working as a vet?

I think we were just talking about this,

but I think it's quite, it's quite full on.

Some of it can be quite full on.

You know, Christmas is quite a hectic time for everybody.

And if you're working in practice and trying to buy presents and trying to get all the family stuff sorted, it can be really, yeah, quite hectic.

And then you end up coming to work and we were just saying that, you know, some of the days are very, very busy and some of the days are less busy, depending what your shift is.
