through hiker. I am a peak bagger. I am a huge hiking nerd and every single week on this podcast, I chat with

other hiking nerds about their experiences on the trail. You knew it. I say it every single week.

You know, got a lot going on. I'm missing episodes every now and then. I know it's not great,

but don't worry, the show is not going anywhere. This week's guest is a man you should be familiar

with if you've listened to previous episodes. Jacob Younger is back on the show. He hiked the

Appalachian Trail. He's done a bunch of stuff in Pennsylvania. We met each other on the Northfield

Placid Trail as we discussed in our last episode. And honestly, Jacob and I just have a similar

vibe. Like I'm, that sounds so generic for like a podcast intro. Like yeah, man, we have

the same vibe. But it's true. Like we, uh, we're pretty similar hikers. We're similar in age. I just

feel like we have a lot in common. And I really enjoyed our last episode. And so I invited him

back on for a second episode. And we, we kind of wanted to do like a fun episode. I sound like a bit of an idiot in this one. I'm not

going to lie, but it's all good. We spend a lot of time making fun of camp chairs. We spend some

time talking about mileage goals. You know, how do you find the balance between hiking like too many

miles and not having any fun, but also like pushing yourself enough that it's rewarding. Honestly, a conversation that we probably could elaborate on even more.

And at the end, we talk about Jacob's new podcast. We talk a little bit about his gear company.

And yeah, just a bunch of random stuff. It was a really fun episode. I'm very grateful for

Jacob taking the time to come back on a second, second episode.
