0:57.9	This word actually is related to a flame. And you can a candle okay so a candle is burning but as the candle finishes it goes it makes that sound it does candles make that
1:07.8	sound and it fizzles out it goes out out. Okay? To fizzle means to go out.
1:14.7	It dies. Now, we use this expression in daily English all the time. Let's listen to the dialogue
1:21.0	and then I'll explain. I heard they have driverless cars in San Francisco. They did. Not anymore.
1:28.3	It fizzled.
1:29.2	Too many problems.
1:32.1	That's right.
1:33.5	Driverless cars, they have them and they test them.
1:38.1	But it's not popular yet because there are too many problems.
1:42.6	So they have this idea, but they were going to do it in San Francisco.
1:46.3	They were going to have driverless cars, but it fizzled. It died. Apple computer. Oh, everybody loves that.
1:54.3	Well, 50% of the world seems to love Apple. Apple created a mouse, you know, a computer mouse, and they call it the magic mouse.
2:03.4	And they came up with a new design, but it fizzled. Why? Because the USB charging port
2:11.9	was on the bottom of the mouse, meaning if you had to charge the mouse, give it power, you couldn't use it.
