My name is Jeff Gersman. I'm happy to be here.

And we're going to talk about video games this week.

I think that's a good week to talk about video games.

And the wild world that surrounds them. You know it, you love it. Video games, am I right?

Yeah, no, it's, you know, the summertime I say it every year but we don't it's it

ain't like it used to be you know the that now there are games coming out all the time and this used to be the I feel like that that zone

between e3 and the release of John Madden football was those were the good times.

You would get back from E3 and there would be a like a lull.

Like no one would be releasing news

because they said everything they wanted to say at E3.

And so you would get back and you would actually

have something that resembled a little bit of downtime for like two or three weeks

where you just go like okay I mean I'm still coming into work but like there's not that

that much to do like I'm reviewing a game and you know making some calls and doing this and that but it wasn't it

certainly wasn't hectic like the month leading up to e3 and it wasn't hectic

the way it was about to be when you know the fall would would hit and

video games would start coming out in large quantities and it was nice.

It wasn't like school it wasn't like like, you know, hey, we get the summers off or anything

like that, which has been interesting. You know, this is technically kind of the first summer that we've had as parents with

with that being a factor though not I mean you know my daughter is going from
