| 1:08.5 | impact that that might have. But there's a lot of things that you're going to see, |
| 1:13.7 | as we always talk about, how something like hearing impairment, which doesn't seem to be related |
| 1:19.1 | to mental health, can be intricately involved in all pieces of their life and really have some significant impacts. |
| 1:29.9 | We're going to begin by developing an understanding of the causes and consequences of |
| 1:34.8 | acquired hearing loss in each piece of life. |
| 1:38.1 | And when I say acquired hearing loss, I am talking about someone who develops it over time or as a result of a trauma. |
| 1:48.5 | I am not talking about people who are deaf. |
| 1:51.3 | People who are deaf have different issues and have often learned to deal with those issues in a different way. |
| 2:02.6 | So what we're talking about is people with acquired hearing loss. |
