Welcome folks. Welcome to the show. Hope your week is off to a good start. We're doing something a little bit different today.

Today is the 12th anniversary of the passing of Bob Varley for whom this studio that I'm in right now is named and every year normally around this time we'll do a little something to memorialize him.

I felt like today being the actual anniversary. I think it's the first time it's happened where we've had a show on the actual anniversary.

I just want to kind of to devote the show to him now I know those of you that have been watching and listening for years have heard a lot of these stories.

And for that I apologize if this is repetitive but part of the reason that we do these shows every year part of the reason I name the studio for him was I don't want his memory to fate.

He was an extraordinary part of our lives.

All of us individually were very close with Bob.

The audience and you know the show was only two years old when he passed.

But he was so instrumental in what we're doing right now.

I first met Bob. I want to say John correct me. I think it was like the summer of 99 that I met Bob.
