apologist and speaker Trent Horn. Today I wanted to share with you a dialogue, a friendly chat,

if you will, that I had with Eric Salmon's at Crisis Magazine. Eric's a solid guy. I have enlisted

him to help review my content if it touches upon traditional Catholicism, traditional Latin

Mass, that kind of community, to make sure that I'm

fair and balanced and everything with everything I'm talking about. I saw Eric a little while

ago posting an ex post about youth ministry saying we don't really, we shouldn't have it anymore.

I'm deeply attached to youth ministry. It's how I became Catholic was through a really awesome youth group.

And that was 20, I can't believe it is 25 years ago when that happened.

So I figure, you know, instead of dogpiling or doing something like that on X because I hate X, at least I'm on X.

I reply every now and then to people, but it's not a place I want to spend

a lot of time writing stuff because it's very counterproductive. So I said, hey, instead of going

back and forth here on X, let's just chat about it. So we did. I hope that you like it.

And yeah, I just hope you guys have a very blessed weekend. Okay. So our discussion today is about Catholic youth ministries. Yeah. And it's because of a

tweet I put, let me put it up here on the, on the, oh, it's too small. I made it too small. Anyway,

I'll read it. I said, I tweet out and I do this sometimes. I'll put something on X that, you know,

kind of just gets things started. So I believe it would be better if almost every single teen-oriented apostolate ministry and the church were shut down. No youth groups, no youth

conferences. And for God's sake, no youth masses. Just integrate teens into parish life to prepare

them for adulthood. And, you know, and I do mean, I never lie on, I never say something I don't

mean, but I will say, obviously, X isn't the place for nuance. But at the same time, you, you, you, uh, reach out to me and push back a little bit. And I thought that was good. And we thought, hey, let's go ahead and get on here. And I'd rather, and I'd rather just talk to you because I hate discussions on X.

I absolutely hate them.

A lot of times I'll see people post something that's inflammatory or just something like that.
