| 0:56.9 | caregiver, but also the cared for person. In terms of this presentation, a couple definitions, |

| 1:13.5 | You know, children can't cook, can't go to the grocery store. |
| 1:16.8 | They need caregivers. |
| 1:18.5 | People with certain disabilities who are unable to live independently. |
| 1:24.2 | And older adults who may be struggling with aging in place or unable to live independently. |
| 1:33.6 | That's really who we're talking about today. |
| 1:36.0 | Any human being that requires assistance because they are not able to live totally independently. |
| 1:46.1 | A caregiver is anyone who helps care for someone. |
| 1:50.5 | And before the class started, I had a question about whether we were going to talk about nannies. |
| 1:56.2 | And that's not really what I had in mind for this presentation, but a lot of what we're going to talk about |
