Dave asks, where would Joseph Smith have learned how to make people see visions?

And I think our member, Fawn Brody, writing about this, it seemed to have been a technique

to use this suggestion.

Would this have been from the local charlatans that would have been appearing throughout

New England during Joseph Smith's day?

Where would he have learned how to induce visions and other people?

Well, like I said, he could have learned it by trial and error during the money digging

phase when he was suggesting that there were spirits around and then people saw them.
