welcome to the invested podcast where we are we are learning about investing.

Warren Buffett's style.

That is what we're doing.

But it's expanding that we find as we go deeper into this.

It's expanding to really being looking into how people think and how people

behave and why we do what we do and lots of kinds of things sort of kind of yeah I mean I think my experience

over the last gosh I don't even know how long at this point more than a year has been that this style of investing this value

investing or what are we calling it deep value investing? Yeah I think that's

deep value is right we're very focused or focused value investing.

Warren Buffett's style.

Focused value investing.

Warren Buffett style, where you buy only a few companies

and you know all sorts of things about them and you think that they're awesome.

And this is my encapsulation of Rule Number 1 investing.

You think that they're awesome and you're certain that they're going to go up?

Yes.

At some point.

They might go down, but eventually they're going to go up.

Yes.

And what I've found is that you're right. It has made me think about, for lack of a better term, the world around me in a different way, in a way of like, oh, look at all of these corporations these companies these people
