But I think it's sort of like ballroom dancing where, you know, it's a guy learning how to touch a woman in an appropriate and respectful way.

And I think that's sort of an important thing.

I think that's a good thing that comes out of the sport.

I'm Allison Taylor on behalf of Elite Sports Band. Visit Elite Sports Band. and from California. They trained at West Coast Training Center in Livermore, California.

They are world champions in acrobatic gymnastics. They won a mixed pair in 2010 in Poland,

which you're going to hear all about Poland because it is crazy what happened and how they won.

And they also won the World Games, and they were the first American MixPere to win. The World Games, which is a huge deal.

The World Games are like the Olympics for tumbling and trampoline and, well not for trampoline,

but for tumbling and acrobatic gymnastics and aerobics and all the other disciplines that aren't in the Olympics, a huge deal.

This interview, I asked of course all the questions that I wanted to ask, all the things about how do you get used to like you know straddling

someone's face all the time when you do your gymnastics and how does it work

when you have to build up all this crazy strength to hold someone on one wrist.

They talked about so many things that I had never considered when thinking about working as

a mixed pair and also what it was for them, like the benefits of working in a partnership and also all the

crazy stories they have from traveling around the world and one story we have

never had anything like this before and It involves a cave, an actual cave in Russia.
