What's up, Surf Splender fans.

Welcome back to the show after a three-week hiatus.

David Scales here, your host, as always, and wanted to just bring you up to speed i was out of town for the last three

weeks and intended actually to post a couple of episodes while i was gone and it just became

very impractical um i was out of town for work i was in europe and i, was running long days. And by the time, I'd make it back to the hotel.

It's like I had to spend time on the computer checking email and doing kind of, you know, priority things.

And there was just no chance that I was going to get around to doing additional work and this.

And so I kind of acquiesced after a day or two and just

threw in the towel and was like, look, I want to enjoy some of this trip. I want to have an

extra glass of wine at dinner and not have to worry about rushing back to the room to sort this out.

Or maybe it was just coffee even in the morning, you know, and be able to kind of just, again,

be a part of the trip and not have to sit in the hotel room on the computer for extended

periods of time.

So I apologize for leaving you hanging, but for me personally, it was the right choice.

So I know that you understand.

But I'm thrilled to be back.

I did miss it.

And so much

happened in terms of surf news while I was gone actually while I was there there was the

Quicksilver Pro France and then of course the rip curl event in Portugal so we discussed some of

that stuff in this show as well as plenty of other stuff. So I'm glad to be back, like I said,
