engineer Frank Ferdarosa. Our guest this week is an actor, writer, producer, film historian

and one of the most recognizable and respected film directors of the last five decades.

As an actor, he's appeared in the film's opening night, 54 and infamous. TV shows include

Law and Order, The Simpsons, How I Met Your Mother and The Sopranos in the reoccurring role of

therapist Elliott Guppurberg. Close enough. He's also accomplished, he's accomplished thoughts

are a dozens of articles and several books on film criticism and history including pieces of time,

Who the Devil Made It, Who the Helds In It, Fritz Lang in America and Peter Bogged

Donovich movie of the week. He also enjoyed personal relationships with many of the screen

legends he wrote about including Carrie Grant Howard Hawkes Jimmy Stewart Alfred Hitchcock and

Orson Wells. He's also been known for directing the acclaimed films like Paper Moon, What's Up Doc,

Mass Targets directed by John Ford, they all left St. Jack and the last picture show and if

that's not enough, he also happens to do a terrific impression of Walter Brennan.

I was offered a part in a movie that was going to be the next Gene Wile-A-Richard

prior comedy and they had made a series of successful films and it was going to be directed by

Peter Bogged Donovich and I thought, you know, while they're prior Bogged Donovich, what could go wrong?
