for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year.

That's pretty cool.

It's a great honor.

You know, obviously, obviously one simply because I played in

Chicago for 11 years and you know I know what Walter meant to not only that

organization but the way he represented himself really across the board on the field and off the field and what the family still

does to this day to give back into that area and you know it's pretty unique and

then the other side for me is you know there's only 32 nominees so obviously

there's a lot of people in our locker room who are very deserving of this nominee and this honor and

I'm just humbled and honored that I could be the 49ers representative this year and
