Before we start the episode today, we want to offer our condolences to the family and friends of

Brad William Hanky, who we recently lost and we talk about fondly in this episode.

So this is the first time that I have actually watched this episode.

And I know we haven't yet, and I don't think we will ever have an Oscar winner on our podcast.

And today, today we do. We have Jamie Ray Newman who plays Angelina.

Jamie Ray Newman, who is like so good in everything she does. Just the best. I've known her for like over a

decade now. I mean, decades. Yeah. We were bouncing around together in L.A. at the same time, and we'd always

see each other auditions. I love her. We went to the same college, and she was a couple years ahead of me,

and she had such legend status because most kids at our school either went to New York or Chicago.

It was like a very theater capital T program. And if you went to

L.A., which another student told me when I was telling them that I was playing out there, like,

I would just never sell out like that. It was that kind of a vibe at our school. Yeah. How's their

bank account doing? That was the thing. I was like, I totally get that response. However, I have to make rent.

Do you have to, like, make a living? Yeah, I hate that. That attitude is so ridiculous.

And, like, I want to be on TV, man. So anyway, I was out in L.A. and Jamie was doing General Hospital.

And she's also a musician. And she definitely could have been a musician.

So anyway, she was out there and she was on general hospital already.

And I was just like, man, this woman like did it and continues to do it.

And yeah, we would see each other at auditions and like I remember seeing her out here or there.

But then I moved to New York.
