This week's episode is about sex if you haven't figured that out yet. I guess this Jesse Behring who is a very interesting guy. I've known him for a few years.

He's a research psychologist who specializes in human sexuality. He's been all over the place. He was teaching at a university in Ireland when I met him. He's American.

And now he was in Ithaca for a few years. And now he has just moved to New Zealand.

So we did a Skype interview and unfortunately there was some sort of a thunderstorm happening down there and it kept cutting us off.

So I've tried to edit it together so that it won't be irritating to listen to it. It was kind of irritating to be involved in.

Unfortunately we had to keep reconnecting and picking up where we left off. So if you hear any sort of lack of flow in the conversation.

That's what it is. Hopefully that won't come through in the version you're listening to now. But anyway, Jesse Behring, he wrote his last book is called Purve.

It's a study of perversions. So we cover quite a bit of kinky ground in this episode.

He also wrote a book called Why is the penis shaped like that and other reflections on being human, which is a collection of essays that he wrote for a scientific American, I believe.

And he has another book called the belief instinct also known as the God instinct. I think it's the belief instinct in America and the God instinct in the UK.

I don't know, but it's the same book similar title. Very interesting stuff. So anyway, Jesse Behring is the guest this week. Fantastic guy.
