Summary

Retired agent Ed Petersen reviews the investigation of the kidnapping and murder of Exxon Oil Executive Sidney Reso. While they negotiated for his release for 52 days, what investigators didn’t know was that Reso had been shot in the arm during the kidnapping, and had died three days later. Upon retiring, SA Petersen became the Director of Security for Major League Baseball (MLB), Office of the Commissioner.

0:16.0	Today we get to speak to Ed Peterson who served with the FBI for 27 years. In this episode he reviews the investigation of the
0:26.2	kidnapping and murder of Exxon Oil Executive Sidney Rissau. While the

0:51.0	was also a certified hostage negotiator, a police
0:55.8	instructor, and SWAT team coordinator. He also served as the FBI's liaison for

1:06.4	professional sports teams.
1:09.0	After retiring from the FBI, Ed Peterson became the Director of Security for Major League Baseball in the Office of
1:16.8	the Commissioner.
1:17.8	Currently, he is co-founder of Buckley Peterson Global Inc. and contributes to security assessments and the development
1:26.6	of crisis readiness and response plans for corporations, schools, hospitals, and professional sports.
