Summary

There's a reason we start all new Amazon sellers in our community with the same proven, time tested, low risk, low cost, high odds of success model. It works. It's the core new seller model taught in our award winning ProvenAmazonCourse.com training and our coaching.

What is that model?

Filling the underserved and unstocked shelf space at Amazon's 100s of warehouses in the US with common, boring and easily sourced inventory is simply a beautiful, expansive and fully automatable biz model - as evidenced by the 100s of success stories on our show!

But many new sellers go down different paths and regret it...

What are the common paths that new sellers go down, and what are the risks and challenges of each of them? We talk about wholesale, private label, selling used books, thrifting and clearance aisle sourcing among other models and explain why they all pale in comparison to starting out with selling replenishables sourced easily online of from any authorized retailer.

Now, maybe you're not even considering selling on Amazon right now.

Let me just spend a moment comparing this opportunity to all the other

0:22.9

e-commerce opportunities that we've seen. Just drop some facts and data. Now, if you've been in

0:27.6

our community for a while, you've heard me say some of these things, but it's important. Let's lay

0:32.1

the groundwork. Why do we spend so much time talking about selling on Amazon when we could be talking about

0:39.4

all kinds of other business opportunities around here?

0:42.9

Well, it's this simple.

0:44.3

We see Amazon selling, specifically the models that we train, as the lowest risk, lowest

0:49.3

cost, lowest barrier to entry business model in all of e-commerce, arguably the entire world of

0:57.1

business opportunities, with the highest odds of success. That's why we spend so much time here.

If you're not aware, e-commerce represents still far less than 20% of all retail spending in the United States.

1:29.1

That's right.

1:29.8

If you added up all the transactions online today, everything everybody purchased on eBay, on Walmart, on Amazon.com, online, all the online purchases, all the Etsy stores, and everything else combined.

1:46.6

It's far less than 20% of retail spending in the United States compared to people going to stores, getting in their car,

buying things traditionally. E-commerce is in its infancy, in other words. Very bright future ahead.

This is U.S. government data. If you don't believe me, go ask Google,
