Now here's Paul with today's message.

Well, if I had it to do again, I would retitle this message.

It's titled in your bulletin, I believe, conviction, anger, and death.

You know what you do when you prepare a series like this, do I seem loud to you?

When you prepare a series like this, you study the sweep of a portion of scripture until you are

comfortable with it.

You divide it up into reasonable sections for sermons, and you choose titles for those sermons.

You do that months before you actually preach them. But the more you

live in a passage of scripture, the more you understand what it's about. And if I had to,

the opportunity, I would title this evening's message, The Collision.

Because I think in these two very different little historical vignettes,

you really do get a picture of something that's much grander and much bigger and much more significant than the size of this little passage. What you really

see is this collision between the kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world, the kingdom of light

and the kingdom of darkness, the kingdom of God and the kingdom of this world. The kingdom of light and the kingdom of darkness.
