We have got for you this week the show what we did live at the hay literary festival.

When you hear this I'll almost certainly be in a Lou somewhere in Italy

fiddling with my emergency packet of emodeum.

Both of us are going somewhere sunny for our holidays but we won't change colour at all

were we because we're so pale skinned so we'll be back in September basically looking exactly

the same and sounding exactly the same and repeating much of the same material.

So what would have been the point?

Usually when we do this as regular listeners to the podcast will know it is just Jane, me,

JP, Viv, Sam, Georgia, whoever's available, an eroding microphone and the Piazza and some dodgy

coffee and how does this feel to be here Jane?

Well it's quite terrifying.

It is, yes it is terrifying because we're actually very shy.

And this isn't really what we intended when we started this podcast which as we always say has

only ever been moderately successful and long way it continues to be moderately successful.

And no more and never any more than that no it's the last thing we want is money and fame and

adulation not interested. We didn't nobody knew they wanted this podcast until they had it

and that also applies to us.

It does very much so.
