In terms of coming up with a story, I kind of usually start with the central relationship that I want to write about.

So whether that's friends or siblings or a couple or colleagues,

I've always got some kind of idea of the dynamic I want between the central two people.

That's usually the first thing.

And I always work very early in the mornings.

I find I get up really early and I find that those hours between about kind of 530 and 8.30

are the best time for me when no one's getting in touch with you,

no one's bothering you. It's really important to me to have a good career. And my parents

have drummed it into me that you never get anything for nothing and you know, you have to work

half you're doing all that kind of stuff. So I knew I wanted to big career. So at that point,

I had a plan. I was going to work my way into TV. As I say, I always knew that I wanted to make something out in my careers, but I wasn't in a rush.
