Lori has been a medical speech pathologist with a focus on dysphagia for 25 years.

23 of those years were spent working with adults in critical and acute care.

Not quite two years ago, she took the opportunity to expand her knowledge and skills and

took a position as senior speech pathologist at Texas Children's Hospital,

again working with a critical and acute care patients, but with much to learn.

Lori has served at many levels within SIG 13 and the American Board of Swallowing and Swallowing

Disorders. She is the 2019 Asha Convention co-chair for Speech Pathology
