I'm diving in and doing a solo episode.

I get tons of questions on my Instagram.

I'm answering a few of those today.

Number one, I get questions about the DIY, the direct input, direct injection, I feel like I've heard some people say.

You know what I'm talking about, the DIY, right?

You plug your base into it.

You plug an XLR cable into it.

That goes to a recording console front of house for a live gig.

There are so many of those options.

You can just use the old dusty one that they used to prop up

wedge monitors at the venue. You can buy a really expensive tube one. You can use the one out of the

back of your amp. Like, why do you need one? Why on earth? I am going to demystify it. I'm going to

give you my recommendations. I'm going to talk to you about what I use in the different scenarios,

how I use them. And I think it will be valuable to you. I've got a lot of questions. I've had

a lot of questions about it. So hopefully that'll be great. Also, I suck at reading.

Like standard words, but also also and specifically, music notation.

So bad at it.
